Photoelectrosynthesis and Photocatalysis at Semiconductor Electrodes

The principles and applications of semiconductor electrodes in photoelectrochemical (PEC) cells for carrying out useful chemical reactions are described. The factors in the design of efficient and stable systems and semiconductor particulate systems constructed on the basis of PEC cell principles are discussed. (Author)
