A Highly Portable System for Acquiring and Processing AXBT's

At the Naval Research Laboratory highly portable intelligent computer terminals are being utilized aboard aircraft to acquire and process data received from Airborne Expendable Bathythermographys (AXBT's). Discussed in the paper is the design and implementation of the data acquisition and processing system which includes a detailed description of the hardware and software utilized. (Author)
