This publication describes the integration of the materiel systems acquisition process into the Planning, Programming, and Budgeting System (PPBS). The report discusses the manpower, personnel, and training (MPT) information requirements of the materiel systems acquisition process as they relate to the entry points of the PPBS. The report also identifies timing for the integration of required data and provides recommendations for updating procedures. (Author)
