NAVAIRDEVCEN Dynamic Flight Simulator F-14 Spin Simulation Program System Description and Specification Report.

This report describes the dynamic flight simulator (DFS) aerodynamic modeling, software, and hardware system description and specifications. The DFS utilizes the NAVAIRDEVCEN centrifuge as a motion base system and includes a multipurpose cockpit crewstation, a cockpit/computer interface system, instrumentation cockpit displays, flight controls, panels, switches, indicators and a number of digital, analog, display and general purpose computers. The initial program planned for the DFS, will investigate problem areas regarding the out-of-control losses of the F-14 aircraft.
