摘要

The mutagenic potential of triethylene monohexyl ether (SR16*); 3-(N-n-butyl-N-acetyl)aminopropionic acid ethyl ester (M3534*); proprietary compound (RH-398*); N,N-diethyl-m-toluamide (DEET*); N-(n-hexyl) glutarimide (CHR3*) was assessed by using the Ames Salmonella/mammalian Microsome Mutagenicity Assay. Tester strains TA 98, TA 100, TA 1535, TA 1537 and TA 1538 were exposed to doses ranging from 1 microliter/plate to 3.2 x 10 to the minus 4th power microliter/plate for DEET, RH-398, and CHR3; and 10 microliter/plate to 3.2 x 10 to the minus 3rd power microliter/plate for all other test compounds. It was determined that none of the test substances had mutagenic behavior at the levels tested.
