Design Guide, Built-In-Test (BIT) and Built-In-Test Equipment (BITE) for Army Missile Systems

This report documents the first draft of a design guide and has been prepared as an aid to the project manager, beginning with the conceptual phase through development, and as a guide to the system design engineer concerned with the incorporation of built-in-test (BIT) and built-in-test equipment (BITE) into the weapon system. It is not the intent of this document to detail the how to but rather to identify those subject areas that need to be considered in determining the requirement for BIT. (Author)
