Estimating Aircrew Fatigue: A Technique with Application to Airlift Operations.

摘要

This report proposes a method of assessing aircrew fatigue based on work/rest profiles. Possible circadian desynchronization and cumulative fatigue an aircrew may have experienced are considered. The method was used to assess aircrew fatigue during computer-simulated airlift operations. It shows quantitatively how flying-hour limitations can affect average aircrew fatigue and system performance. (Author)
