摘要

NbSiTaTiZr alloy was designed to have two combined effects: high entropy effect and large atomic size effect which are intended to give unusual thermal stability of amorphous structure. The outcome is that the amorphous structure of deposited alloy film on sapphire substrate can be retained even annealed at 850C for at least 3h. If substrate effect could be eliminated, the crystallization temperature would be higher.
