SHARPS III Configuration Management Guidelines.

This report documents specific configuration management guidelines used when providing upgrades for the SHARPS III model in operation at Fleet Numerical Oceanography Center (FNOC). The benefits of maintaining strict configuration control over the SHARPS III model are discussed. Specific organizational responsibilities for the maintenance of various software components and the overall configuration management of the model are documented. The step-by-step procedure to be used in updating the model is also given. (Author)
