Water vapor, precipitation, clouds, lines-of-sight, and fog are discussed in this report. Information on rainfall rates, hail, snowfall, satellite and radar observations of clouds, clear and cloud-free lines-of-sight, water content of clouds, fog, and visibility are included. The information in this report will also be Chapter 16 of the 1983 'Handbook of Geophysics and Space Environments.'
