Further Ground-Based Studies of Sources from the AFGL (Air Force Geophysics Laboratory) Infrared Sky Survey

摘要

Sixteen bright infrared celestial sources were monitored from the ground over a 3 year timespan with broadband filters from 1.2 to 18 microns. Higher resolution narrow-band spectra were also obtained for 3 of the sixteen objects, principally in the 8 to 14 micron region. The combination of variability timescales and spectra permit rough identification of the object class for individual objects.
