Training Objectives for Tank Platoon Leaders: Interview Excerpts and Analysis

摘要

Focus group research was conducted to evaluate a new format for preparing Army training objectives for tactical leadership tasks. A second objective was concerned with the approach to be taken in extending this format to include training standards for use in after-action reviews. Twelve groups of Army personnel knowledgeable in tactical leadership were interviewed. The new format was perceived as potentially useful in tactical leadership training. Alternatives regarding the extension of the format to include training standards were provided by the participants. (Author)
