Self-Dependent B Lymphocyte Subpopulations: Relationship of Cell Volume to Surface Phenotype, Cell Cycle, Proliferative Response, and Requirements for Antibody Production to TNP-Ficoll and TNP-BA

In the work presented here, we have adapted the methodology of counterflow centrifugation to achieve size separation of purified murine B lymphocytes, and have used this method to study the relationship of in vivo B cell size to its surface phenotype, position in cell cycle, proliferative response, and requirements for antibody production.
