摘要

Electroanalytical techniques can be used for direct characterization of electroactive prosthetic groups, such as flavin mononucleotide (FMN) and flavin adenine dinucleotide (FAD), in enzymes immobilized on electroconductive supports. Studies with these techniques will lead to a better understanding of the electrochemical state of the prosthetic groups as well as the development of new methodology in the field of enzyme electrodes. In the present work, glucose oxidase (GO) and FAD were immobilized by adsorption or covalent attachment to the surface of two types of carbons, medium porosity spectroscopic graphite (SG) and low-porosity glassy carbon (GC).
