Register of Commissioned and Warrant Officers of the United States Navy and Reserve Officers on the Active-Duty List

The purpose of this publication is to promulgate the order of seniority of officers of the U.S. Navy on active duty. Although Reserve officers assigned to active duty in connection with the Training, Administration and Recruiting of the Reserve (TAR) Program are not active-duty list officers, they are listed for convenience in determining relative seniority among officers on the active duty list. In the interest of efficiency and economy some of the information which was published in past editions has been deleted. All of the deleted data is available from other sources. The lists of officers are divided into three categories: (1) active-duty list officers; (2) naval reserve officers assigned to active duty in TAR program; (3) chief warrant officers.
