Detection of Damage in Hydraulic Components by Acoustic Emission Techniques

摘要

Acoustic Emission Instrumentation was applied to the detection of damage, wear and leakage in hydraulic pumps, valves and cylinders. The results show that these components emit signals between 20 and 90 khz that can be correlated to leakage or damage. A literature survey and a summary of commercially available instruments are also included. (Author)
