摘要

Charge transport in poly-(Ru(2,2'-bipyridine)2(3+/2+) films have been measured by chronoamperometry, chronocoulometry, linear sweep voltammetry and mediated oxidation of (Fe(2,2'-bipyridine)3)(2+). Charge transport follows diffusional behavior in both acidic and neutral AlCl3/1-methyl(3-ethyl)imidazolium chloride molten salts and in CH3CN. The charge transport diffusion coefficient did not depend upon which melt was used and an average value of .000000017 mol/sq cm 1/2S was obtained. This is 2.6 times smaller than the value obtained in CH3CN. Possible reasons for this are discussed.
