摘要

This lecture series reviewed the numerous recent developments in applications to turbomachinery (compressors and turbines) of three-dimensional(3-D) computation techniques for internal flows. The necessity of a 3-D approach in the case of locally or fully supersonic flows was emphasized. Off-design operation of turbomachines was also considered. Also, the possibilities of further advances offered by the use of the super-computers of the new generation were discussed.
