摘要

The main targets of the present investigation are: to continue the investigation of the OP compounds on the chemosensitive receptors located at various synapses; to discern the active sites of these receptor-ion channel complexes involved in activation, desensitization and blockade; to establish the concentration gradients for various noncompetitive antagonists for production of states of activation, inactivation and blockade of the receptor-channel macromolecule; to delineate avenues of testing, in in vivo and in vitro conditions, new agents which will be proven effective in alleviation of symptomatology of intoxication produced by OP agents; to recommend an agent or combination of agents which will be prophylactically and therapeutically effective against OP intoxication.
