Development of a Computer Simulation for Assessing Decision-Making Style Using Cognitive Complexity Theory.

摘要

This report documents the design and development of a Managerial Assessment and Training Simulation System (MATSS). The MATSS is a computer-based simulation of a hypothetical military/political crisis in Yugoslavia in 1988. Participants act in the simulation to cope with the dilemma as the computer collects real-time data on their decision-making strategy. Measures of performance are based on interactive complexity theory, which is concerned with the structure rather than the content of decision making. (Author)
