Schoengasta Crossi, a New Species of Scrub-Itch Chigger from the Philippines (Acari, Prostigmata, Trombiculidae).

A new species of scrub-itch chigger, Shoengastia crossi is described and illustrated. The species was collected on black plates in cogon grass fields in the proximity of human dwelling in the Metro Manila, Philippines.
