Correlation between Current Marital Satisfaction and Premarital Counseling

Principal Hypotheses are (1) Couples who had per-marital counseling will report greater current marital satisfaction than couples who had no per-marital counseling (Schumm & Denton, 1970. (2) There will be a positive correlation between a more mature age at marriage and having received poer-marital counseling. Does per-marital counseling make any difference in current marital satisfaction. It was found that there is virtually no correlation between premarital counseling and current marital satisfaction. The hypothesis is not supported.
