Selection of Organization Structures Within the Naval Facilities Engineering Command

This thesis proposes a method of selecting organization structures for the Naval Facilities Engineering Command. Multiattribute utility measurement, a quantitative methodology, is used to select the best structure from among five possible organization structures. To determine the best structure organization attributes are identified and weighted. Each alternative is given a utility value for each attribute, which when summed provides a quantitative evaluation on the alternative organization structures.
