The Planning, Programming, and Budgeting System Division (HQ MAC/XPPB) conducts PPBS training classes for program managers every year. Currently, they do not have a document that provides an overview of their training. This handbook was designed to complement this training by reviewing the program manager. Contents includes: MAC Process's History; Funded/Unfunded Programs; Program Manager; Program Decision Package; Program Evaluation Group Briefing; MAC Council Review; CINCMAC Review. The Planning Process includes the Air Force Documents; Joint Chiefs of Staff Documents, Office of Secretary of Defense Documents.
