摘要

The low density limit ko to the ter-molecular ion-molecular association coefficient is shown to be related through a double integral to X = k(exp) (M) (mu/alpha to the 1/2), where k (exp) is the measured association coefficient at ambient gas density (M), alpha is the polarizability of the neutral reactant, and mu is the reduced mass of the pair. The results obtained from evaluations of the double integral are parametrized so that ko may easily be found from laboratory data. (Keywords: Ion, Neutral reactions, High Pressure, Termolecular.
