Model-Based System for On-Line Affine Image Transformations

A technique for performing an on-line transformation of an object from a compact, complete 3-D model in one fixed orientation is described. The model consists of connecting planar polygons in 3-D space and is useful for symbolic, associative, and other Artificial Intelligence processing. Two potential architectures are presented in which this system can be used in an intelligent recognition system. (Reprint).
