NSSC S&T Board, Nutal Value Statement: Demonstrate the powerful benefit to the region of a strong network of DoD, multigovernment, industry, and academic leaders. Cteate lasting opportunities through co-sponsored initiatives with shared goals that reflect commitment to leveraging resources and deep, continuous understanding of member priorities. Focus on developing and sustaining innovative personnel, facilities, and equipment capabilities that support the Warfighter and the regional economy. Success will be recognized/acknowledged when we realize: (1) An increase in formalized public/private relationships; (2) An increase in the awareness of the NSSCs S& T capabilities and opportunities in the industrial, academic and defense communities; (3) New relationships that leverage resources, create new assets, and increase the value of existing assets at the NSSC; (4) Transfer of technology by supporting both the development of commercial technologies to meet the needs of the Army (spin-in) and the commercialization of resident Army technologies (spin-out); (5) The benefits of utilizing Board resources to inform the regional economy of Defense funded opportunities resulting in increased business opportunitiest.
