Quantitative Modeling of Growth and Dispersal in Population Models

This document discusses techniques for the estimation of nonlinearities and state-dependent coefficients in parabolic partial differential equations. Applications to density-dependent population dispersal and nonlinear growth/predation models are presented. Computational results using parallel and vector architectures are discussed.
