Pharmacologic Support of the Cardiovasculature in Septic Shock.

In this report, we discuss the pharmacologic agents which may be helpful in supporting the heart and vasculature of the patient with septic shock. Our bias is that a poly-pharmaceutical approach will offer the clinician the best advantage in cardiovascular support.
