Decision Support System for the Diagnosis of Aircraft Emergencies

摘要

The purpose of this research is to show the feasibility of an expert system that utilizes the existing sensors aboard an aircraft to aid the pilot in the diagnosis of single and compound emergencies. As passive expert planner is proposed that utilizes multiple and domain dependent knowledge bases. The system is implemented on a personal computer, using the USMC AH-1T attack helicopter as a modeling platform. An effort is made to quantify the amount of information processing necessary to adequately define emergencies. Performance of the system was also evaluated.
