Analysis of Lysergic Acid Diethylamide (LSD) in Urine by Combined Gas Liquid Chromotography-Mass Spectrometry (GLC-MS)

Because LSD was known to occur in urine in low concentration it was required that the procedure estimate amounts as low as 1 nanogram per milliliter urine, that it utilize combined gas-chromatography (GC/MS) and that it utilize GC/MS equipment available to the various US Naval Laboratories. Requisite procedures which have been developed are described.
