摘要

The result of the work reported on herein was an algorithm for establishing points on a surface partitioning the space around a tracking mount into two disjoint regions - one where tracking a constant velocity, constant altitude target is possible and the one where tracking cannot be accomplished. An idealized output torque versus shaft angular velocity is assumed for the drives. The method is general and can be extended to accommodate other driver characteristics. (Author).
