Solid Phase Extraction for Concentration and Storage of Nerve Agents

A solid phase extraction procedure has been demonstrated to concentrate GA, GB, GD, and VX from natural waters. When this procedure is used in conjunction with enzyme test tickets from the M272 Test Kit, nerve agents can be detected at 5 micro g/L or lower. The nerve agents GD and VX were shown to be stable on the solid phase extraction columns at room temperature for seven days.
