By combining static and dynamic properties M (W), A(2), k(d), R(g) and D(0) of an alternating copolymer of ethylene and tetrafluoroethylene, -(CF2,CF2,CH2,CH2)x-, in diisobutyl adipate at 240 C with a detailed analysis of the intensity-intensity time correlation function, we have been able to determine, for the first time, the molecular weight distribution (MWD) of an alternating copolymer of ethylene and tetrafluoroethylene (PETFE). A variety of Laplace inversion techniques, including multiexponential singular value decomposition (MSVD), a method of regularization (RILIE), and CONTIN, was used to obtain an estimate of the normalized characteristic line-width distribution function G(T).
