The purpose of this document is to provide the software evaluator the information needed to conduct the Air Force Operational Test and Evaluation Center's (AFOTEC's) software maintainability evaluation process. In this document software maintainability is limited in scope to software design and documentation assessments. Volume 3 is an evolutionary document that will be updated periodically. Questions contained are intended to be only a representative sample of software maintainability questions. This version incorporates previous user comments, and we solicit your written inputs for the next update. This volume is one in a series of Software Operational Test and Evaluation Guidelines prepared by the Software Evaluation Division of the Logistics Directorate. It is intended for use in the operational test and evaluation of software.
