摘要

The temperature dependence and time evolution of the fluorescence was studied for samples of CaMoO4: YNbO4 and CaMoO4, NdNbO4 and the results are used to characterize the thermal quenching and host-sensitized energy transfer properties of these materials. Doping with YNbO4 is found to enhance the room-temperature luminescence yield of CaMoO4. Efficient host-sensitized energy transfer to Nd3+ ions was observed in CaMoO4: NdNbO4, and the fluorescence lifetime of Nd(3+) was found to be close to its radiative lifetime in this host. (Calcium, Molybdenum, Niobium, Oxygen).
