Movies and 3-D Images of Flowfields Using Planar Laser-Induced Fluorescence

摘要

Two-dimensional and three-dimensional flowfield imaging based on laser induced fluorescence is described. Results are reported for excimer laser excitation of OH in flames, oxygen in flames, and biacetyl seeded nitrogen flows at room temperature. Methods for extending the repetition rate and increasing the spatial resolution (number of pixels) of solid state imaging are discussed. (Reprints).
