Tn recent years an appreciable effort has been made to improve the conduct of individual flights, the control of air traffic and the management of traffic flow, with the objective of increasing the level of safety. This report summaries and evaluates presentations made at a symposium held in Brussels in June 1986. The program presented at the symposium is appended to this report, and the Conference Proceedings are published separately as CP 410.
