Fluid Mechanics at the Middle East Technical University and the Istanbul Technical University

摘要

In surveying the fluid mechanics activity and facilities at two Turkish universities, the author documents the status of the research at these institutions and also reveals the apparent difficulties inherent in the effort to establish satisfactory research activity in a developing country such as Turkey.
