Design for a Unity Mueller Matrix Periscope

摘要

Mueller matrices for several examples of periscope design are calculated. This study shows that by using 90-degree total internal reflections a periscope can be constructed that has a unity Mueller matrix. A unity Mueller matrix does not alter the state of polarization of the light it transmits. (Author)
