摘要

Advances in artificial intelligence (AI) will enable future fighter /attack aircraft to have a rather unique crew -- one human and one electronic. The objective of the workshop was to bring together AI specialist and cockpit designers in order to exchange ideas relative to 1) the state of the art in aircraft applications of AI technology and 2) the impact on the cockpit of the human/electronic crew. This meeting provided a valuable forum for the experts of several countries to exchange ideas, concepts, and data relative to hardware and software capabilities that can be included in an aircraft system design to aid the human operator in performing the mission.
