The Guide describes procedures to be used by all US Army Corps of Engineers structural engineers using the structural analysis software Intergraph RandMicas. Following the procedures outlined in the guide should simplify the process of model generation, load application, and structural analysis. The Guide establishes procedures for using the software by giving detailed modeling steps for four typical structural models. Suggestions and recommendations are given that should reduce repetition of work and eliminate avoidable errors.
