Incorporation of Radar Sea Clutter Prediction into Operational Navy EnvironmentalSupport Products: Prototype Software Development

摘要

Prototype operational FORTRAN software is developed implementing a two-scalemicrowave sea surface scatterometry model. A program suitable for specific numerical testing, and another program illustrating its potential operational utility in generating graphical visual aids, are also documented. Limitations of the selected scatterometry model are discussed, and suggestions on the direction of future development efforts are offered.
