This document summarizes the findings of the IDA's survey of models, simulations, and relevant tools currently being used to analyze the African continent. It identifies the most pressing gaps in data and captures the most significant challenges or obstacles to effective data collection. This phase of research supports the final objective, which is to draft a Qualitative Data Collection Strategy (QDCS) that addresses 'gaps' where insufficient qualitative data exist for the African continent.
