Brucella Endocarditis Cured by Medical Treatment

It is unfortunate that Cisneros et al. did not read the brief note we published 5years ago on the successful treatment of two cases of Brucella endocarditis with rifampicin. One patient had mitral valve stenosis, and the second had aortic valve vegetations demonstrated by echocardiography and both were successfully treated with rifampicin without surgical interference.
