Critical Review of the Applications of Electrochemical Techniques to the Study ofMIC

摘要

A review of electrochemical techniques including measurements of corrosionpotential, redox potential, polarization resistance, electrochemical impedance, electrochemical noise, and polarization curves applied to the study of microbiologically influenced corrosion (MIC) is presented. These techniques have been used to study MIC of structural materials in seawater, soil, human plasma, aircraft fuel, and sewage. Biofouling, Corrosion, Biodeterioration, Electrochemistry
