WGE.3 met for the ninth and final time in Trier (Germany) almost exactly 4 yearsafter its formation. During its existence, the WGE has produced 2 STANAGs (4357 on Allied Vehicle Testing Publications (AVTPs) and 4358 on Mutual Acceptance of Government Vehicle Test and Evaluation): these are about to be promulgated. The WGE also addressed a total of 80 AVTPs, of which 68 are now ready for publication in English. Throughout the work of the WGE, FR has undertaken the technical translation of AVTPs into French: because a number of AVTPs have been approved recently, the French language set of AVTPs will probably not be issued until early 1992.
