摘要

Life Cycle Management Automation (LCMA) is a microcomputer system to help manage the Army Reserve Inventory of Facilities through their entire life cycle, from acquisition to disposal. The system is made up of several computer programs, all of which access a common database. The programs included in the LCM are: UNIT, FACILITY, AMSA, BACKLOG, ProjDoc, and MINOR. BACKLOG generates the 5-year plan. ProDoc produces Military Construction, Army Reserve (MCAR) project documentation in minutes. MINOR manages the Minor Construction Program. LCMA requires no special computer training. It runs on IBM-compatible computers with at least 420K memory, MD DOS 3.1 or higher, 1 floppy disk drive, 8-15 megabytes of free hard disk space for the program, and a printer with a 12 character per inch capability. LCMA software was developed and fielded by the Facility System Division (FS) of the U.S. Army Construction Engineering Research Laboratory (USACERL). Subsequent versions and program documentation for LCMA will be available from the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Huntsville, Division (CEHND).
