Optical absorption and fluorescence line shapes of molecular aggregates arecalculated using a variational method and the dynamical coherent potential approximation (DCPA) which account for strong exciton-phonon coupling. The formation and the quantum sin effects of excitonic polarons are studied Polaritons, molecular aggregates, self-trapped excitons.
