摘要

The effects of norepinephrine and related molecules on the generation ofantitumor cytotoxic activity were determined. Cytotoxic activity was generated by coculture of normal spleen lymphocytes from BALB/c mice with syngeneic MOPC-315 plasmacytoma cells and was assayed by the Cr release assay. At concentrations of 100 micrograms, the catecholamines norepinephrine, epinephrine, isoproterenol and dopamine inhibited the development of cytotoxic activity by 50-90%. However, at concentrations of 0.1 to 1 micrograms norepinephrine but not the other catecholamines enhanced the generation of cytotoxicity.
